    A. The cost structure is as following:
    • Unlimited utilization of the test harness for compliance: No Charge
    • Once compliant and want to proceed with certification: a $100 application fee
    • Based on your submission and requested certification criteria, AIAG will determine the final cost.

  • Q. Who is behind the Development of the QMD Specification?
    A. AIAG is a not for profit standards organization consisting of key automotive OEM-Suppliers & Technology providers. The QMD spec was a joint effort amongst AIAG members representing the three communities and included: GM, Ford, Chrysler, UGS, Mitutoyo, ASI Datamyte, Infinity QS, Mini tab, Siemens PLM, QMC, Statpoint, Q-DAS, LMI Corporation, Validation Technologies, Carl Zeiss IMT Corporation, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Cognitens, Inc, GMPT, Marposs Corporation, Pyramid Solutions, Inc, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies. QMD is a non-proprietary, open standard developed, implemented and maintained by the Industry for the Industry.
