The Opportunity: Common Quality Operational Standards created by finished vehicle logistics providers will create efficiencies in the supply chain and reduce errors and damage rates. The manual will be produced as a training guide for the industry and will complement the individual requirements set forth by the OEMs.
Objectives:
- Manual will have interoperability across all Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) supply disciplines: maritime, rail, and haulaway.
- Provide a management tool for training of FVL staff.
- Establish an industry standard.
Project Goal: Create an FVL Operations Quality manual.
