Quality Management Updates

Quality Steering Committee
The AIAG Quality Steering Committee charter is to proactively identify industry issues, needs, and trends and provide guidance and best practices to continually improve products and processes. The Committee is comprised of executives from automotive OEMs and parts suppliers. If it's about automotive quality, it's about AIAG! Examples of recent deliverables include the Machinery FMEA reference manual, Effective Problem Solving Practitioner Guideline (CQI-20); Effective Problem Solving Leader Guideline (CQI-21); Cost of Poor Quality Guide (CQI-22) the "Future of Quality" series including establishing a quality culture, integrated management systems and innovation on "demand" which involves a process that can be learned and managed by all; and social media sites, e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook.
