This Ad Hoc Committee is responsible for overseeing and providing North American Automotive Industry input to the Global SASIG ECM work group. Its scope to define what constitutes an engineering change; identify key areas of high pains; map existing OEM and Supplier ECM processes in North America; provide terminology input to the global effort; and oversee the activities of the SASIG work group to ensure that North American input harmonizes with that of other nations.
