This Ad Hoc committee was formed to investigate the state of the PLM technology in the Digital Manufacturing domain, within the automotive sector. The group is defining the PLM - Product Lifecycle Management from an automotive standpoint. They will develop a road map to an interoperable digital manufacturing process with identification of 'high pain' areas. After the findings are studied and evaluated by the Collaborative Engineering and Product Development Steering Committee, it is anticipated that new AIAG projects will emerge.
