The AIAG Collaborative Engineering & Product Development Steering Committee is chartered to provide an environment in the industry which enables collaborative engineering and product development, that lead to improved quality reduced cost and cycle times for all participants in the extended enterprise. The goal is to provide enablers for achieving cost savings, lead-time reduction, and quality improvement in global automotive supply chain through collaborative efforts involving the use of vehicle product data.
