It emphasizes error prevention or adverse-event prevention and the reduction of variation and organizational waste, especially removing non-value-added activities. During this course you will learn how to conduct a self assessment that will become the basis for your initial action planning. You will be introduced to the balanced scorecard that tracks your process improvements and you will be exposed to techniques and tools for measurement and problem solving. Course is based on the HF-2 Business Operating Systems for Health Care Organizations which reference the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria for Healthcare and ISO 9001Quality Management System standard.
