This workshop will give you a thorough introduction to error-proofing techniques used in the product design phase, and subsequent new or future process designs, and an understanding of how to react to problems as they occur.
A copy of the Effective Error-Proofing (CQI-18) reference manual is included with this class.
Manufacturing/process engineers, supplier quality engneers, product design engineers, and engineering operations management personnel would benefit from the in-depth introduction of the key elements. Executive levels of management would also benefit from this brief introduction since they would lead the error-proofing improvement efforts within their companies.
Prerequisites: A general understanding of product design and manufacturing is recommended.
