Quality Core Tools: For Healthcare Organizations  Printable Format
Description:

This training will provide a fundamental understanding of the AIAG Quality Core Tools for Healthcare organizations. The core tools include; Advanced Quality Planning (AQP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and are the basis for establishing and effective quality management system and for subsequent continual improvements. The core tools emphasize a strong patient/customer focus and concentrate on risk mitigation, error prevention, the reduction of variation and organizational waste, especially removing non-value-added activities. During this two day course you will learn how the core quality tools become the basis for your initial process control plans and data gathering system. You will be introduced to approaches that track your process performance and your process improvements. You will be exposed to techniques and tools for measurement and problem solving. This course is supportive of the HF-2 Business Operating Systems(BOS) for Health Care Organizations.
