Gain a high-level understanding of REACH Registration and learn how-to work in the substance information exchange forums (SIEF) and consortia. SIEF and consortia will put you in an environment where you must collaborate with other companies, some of which may be your competitors. In this course, you learn how to negotiate terms for SIEF and consortia agreements and how to negotiate payments for SIEF fees and test data. There will be a discussion of anti-trust provisions, however no legal advice will be provided.

Within the SIEF environment, several methodologies exist for evaluating the validity of test data and assigning market values to different datasets. Discover how to most effectively evaluate test data as you walk through and complete hands-on exercises with the Klimisch ratings regime.

Next, find out how to generate registration data and how to complete sections of the joint registration that are specific to your own company, as well as how to benefit from the jointly generated data that is produced.

Finally, as part of REACH registration, you must complete the data entry in the registration's technical dossier. Find out which data elements are required and see some examples of data that can be used in these fields.
