Based on the ISO 9001:2008 process approach used in ISO/TS 16949 and the respective customer requirements, this three-day course will enable you to apply process audits throughout the supply chain to identify risks and determine capability.
The following core themes are discussed using practical examples:
Audit preparation
Application of the respective questionnaire including potential analysis
Customer requirements and their interpretation including VDA
Evaluation rules and process
Audit Documentation and completion
After successful completion of this class (Module BII) and the exam (Module C), you will receive an auditor qualification card from VDA. New auditors will also need to complete Module A as a prerequisite.
Experienced first and/or second party auditors. Course is limited to 12 participants.
Course Outline
Note that VDA has specified requirements for internal auditors (no interface with customers or external suppliers) to receive credentials:
Basic knowledge of quality management;
Familiarity with current regulations and standards;
Knowledge of the specific product and processes;
Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience, preferably in manufacturing companies in the automotive industry including at least one year in quality and/or process management.
Note that VDA has specified requirements for supply chain auditors (carrying out internal and external process audits with interfaces to customers or external suppliers) to receive credentials:
Well-grounded knowledge of quality management;
Knowledge of the specific product and processes;
Certification of successful participation in a VDA 6.3 training course;
Certification of an auditor qualification, e.g. based on EOQ/ISO 19011 systems;
Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience, preferably in manufacturing companies in the automotive industry including at least two years in quality and/or process management.
