HTS Harmonized Tariff Schedule Overview

Ensure that you are compliant with customs regulations and paying the proper rate of duty on your imported products. Proper tariff classification is the basic foundation for all customs transactions, including qualification for the U.S., Mexico, Canada Free Trade Agreement (USMCA). Correct classification of your products is essential for determining the appropriate duties and remaining fully in compliance with all Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Regulations). The Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) provides duty rates for virtually every item that exists, and is harmonized to at least the 6-digit level almost across the globe.
