Course 3 - Management of Product Chemical Regulatory Compliance
This course is one of a three-part training series on chemical regulations that impact all aspects of a product's life cycle. Everyone has a role in how a company addresses their global chemical regulatory management and we encourage company directors, engineering, designers, purchasing agents and environmental practitioners for this training series.
This 4-hour interactive training course provides participants an in-depth discussion of managing global chemical regulatory compliance with specific emphasis on responsibility within functional roles, managing the supply chain, data collection, and material content reporting. Several global regulations will be discussed identifying regulatory requirements and strategies for compliance. Individuals will participate in knowledge checks and case studies throughout the course.
This course is designed for individuals directly involved with chemical and product environmental compliance. This may include materials and product engineers, environmental and health staff, purchasing, quality and sales staff.
Prerequisites: Some knowledge of global regulations or completion of AIAG training Course 2: Overview of Global Chemical Regulations is recommended.
Special Note:Note that this course is not structured or intended to train or certify individuals for general facility environmental compliance to the many government mandated regulations typically referred to as "environmental reporting" in scope. Such training is very specific, often conducted by government-certified trainers, is tightly regulated, and is often state, country, and region specific and typically requires ongoing monitoring of on-site chemical inventories, wastewater discharge, and air/stack emissions and permitting.
Please Note: You will have access to the eLearning module for 60 days after your registration date.
