Effective Problem Solving for Leaders and Practitioners
According to a 2011 study conducted by AIAG, leadership of OEMs and suppliers indicated they don't have confidence in effective problem solving throughout the supply chain. In response, the AIAG Effective Problem Solving Guide (CQI-10) was revamped into two documents: The Practitioners' Guide (CQI-20) and the Leaders' Guide (CQI-21). CQI-20 provides a consensus methodology for complex problem solving for use by automakers and their supply chain. This live recorded webinar will walk through the Effective Problem Solving process and will identify how it relates to common problem solving approaches using a case study. There is a special focus on the "new" process elements such as the use of FMEAs as an integral part of the problem solving process and the inclusion of Escape, Occurrence, and Systemic root causes. The checklists from CQI-20 will also be discussed. Presenter is: Gregory Gruska from Omnex, Inc.
