Effective Problem Solving Webinar
In July 2012, AIAG published CQI-20 Effective Problem Solving Practioner Guide and in August 2012 the CQI-21 Problem Solving Guide - Leaders Role was published.
AIAG conducted a study and determined that "Leadership of OEM and suppliers indicated they don't have confidence in effective problem solving throughout the supply chain."
This webinar will walk through the Effective Problem solving process and will identify how it relates to common problem solving approaches by using a case study. There will be a special focus on the "new" process elements such as the use of FMEAs as an integral part of the problem solving process, and the inclusion of escape, occurence and systematic room causes. The checklists included in CQI-20 will also be discussed. The role of leadership (as discussed in CQI-21) in establishing the culture and structure necessary for effective problem solving and the roles in the problemsolving process will also be included.
