The Mexican market continues to grow in importance for the automotive industry. To further support North American OEMs and suppliers looking for growth opportunities, AIAG presents the same technical content, guidelines and training to support its member companies' operations worldwide. In addition, AIAG can help members to seek potential suppliers, partners and customers in Mexico.
Some of the publications that AIAG offers in Spanish include the Core Tool documents (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC) and the Global MMOG/LE tool.
AIAG has been active in Mexico for over 25 years providing training, publications, standards and assisting with industry events.
AIAG’s objectives in Mexico are to support our members who have manufacturing footprint there and to assist the extended supply chain with the tools necessary to support our member production.

AIAG/ProMexico Core Tool Program
AIAG and ProMexico, the Mexican government institution in charge of strengthening Mexico's participation in the international economy, have once again partnered to provide quality training for automotive suppliers within Mexico. The program was created to give companies a foundation for meeting the competency requirements as defined in ISO/TS 16949 quality standards and bring their operation to world-class level. ProMexico will reimburse approximately 70% of the program cost in support of organizations that want to validate proficiency to customers.
