Corporate Responsibility Steering Committee

Our corporate responsibility work is guided by a CR Steering Committee, which is facilitated by AIAG and comprised of senior staff volunteers from a diverse range of member companies, including major automakers such as Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota, and suppliers such as Chassix, Delphi, Magna, Lear, and TRW. The Committee, along with its Advisory and Working Groups of members and subject matter experts:

  • Identifies the CR issues that are most relevant and material to the automotive industry, and which thus require attention from individual companies;
  • Advances the adoption of widely-recognized standards and best practices, such as the Global Reporting Initiative framework;
  • Promotes responsible business practices throughout the automotive industry, including the complex supply chain;
  • Collaborates with OEMs and suppliers to enhance corporate responsibility stewardship, education, efficiency and effectiveness by developing innovative solutions and tools, and conducting technical trainings and conferences.
