New Chrysler Release Changes Already Addressed by AIM AutoSys Architecture. Present Programs Already Meets Requirements for October 4th Crossover
[Fraser, MI - September 17, 2013] AIM Computer Solutions, a leader in repetitive Automotive ERP has announced today that the new Chrysler program number changes due to go into effect the weekend of October 4th will be automatically handled by existing programs AIM Vision users have already installed. This means that the changes have already been made for users with AIM Vision and AIM AutoSys. "Our Fast Delivery Program has once again demonstrated how an ERP supplier focused on one market niche, the automotive supplier, will not need any extended downtime for enhancements and upgrades," says Jerry Czernel, Vice President of Operations at AIM Computer Solutions. "Over the years our staff has never missed a single EDI or Bar Code Label change required by OEMs or Tier 1 and 2 suppliers," continues Czernel. "We knew that our clients' customers frequently made changes in several major order, scheduling and label areas, and created agile programming segments to address the need for quick response. Our Fast Delivery Program has been proven over and over to be a benefit to our users, who typically have little or no programming staff in house." The Fast Delivery Program is sensitive to organizations that need revisions and enhancements without any schedule disruptions. Working similar to "Wizard" Technology, the enhancements are normally installed by non-programmers, in a matter of minutes. If you are a Chrysler Supplier and are looking for a more reliable EDI software solution, contact AIM at (586) 439-0300. AIM's Fast Delivery Program: A Classic Best-In-Class Approach to New Features
[Fraser, MI - September 16, 2013] AIM Computer Solutions, a proven leader in specialized software for the automotive part supplier marketplace is announcing a support feature that has been in place for over two years: the Fast Delivery Program. To quote a caption line from AIM's Fast Delivery Program flyer: On line. Real time. No problem. No surprises. Most of the downside of software revisions is tied to business disruptions due to system downtime, "surprise" upgrades and less than state-of- the-art upgrade techniques. People can upgrade their PC with wizard functionality when and where they want to. after they are prepared. so why can't the same easy to use technology be used for periodic upgrades to an ERP system? It can be. AIM has developed a wizard-like utility that allows the non-technical user to implement a variety of upgrades without the help of an IT staff. Feature enhancements that are put into place when you are ready and fully informed about the new feature(s) and benefits. No surprises. "This is a far cry from the trauma associated with upgrades in the past," says Jerry Czernel, VP Operations. "There is no loss of weeks or months for an upgrade to AIM Vision," continued Czernel, "because of the focus AIM has on its market place: the automotive part manufacturer. When everyone is on the same system and platform, the user can enjoy significant benefits." "This is nothing more than applying the LEAN benefit of common systems, and applying it across multiple companies," added Czernel. "Each company will benefits from the use of common systems by leveraging and streamlining processes that used to be customized and separate for each company location, which are now combined into one swift and effortless upgrade. Truly state-of-the-art." In addition to significant time savings, AIM applies the Fast Delivery Program to both on site as well as cloud implementations. For additional information on the Fast Delivery Program, or AIM Computer Solutions, Inc. please visit www.aimcom.com. About AIM Computer Solutions, Inc. Interest in MMOG/LE Implementations and Training Remains High in AIM Customer Base
[Fraser, MI - September 13, 2013] The continued interest in MMOG/LE by OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers has spurred the Project Team at AIM Computer Solutions to add additional content to the MMOG/LE reviews they presently offer. AIM Computer Solutions, a recognized leader in specialized software for automotive suppliers, has been serving the automotive supplier market niche for nearly 25 years. In particular, EDI compliance and back up resources will be reviewed and discussed as part of the MMOG/LE reviews. AIM offers a process walk through to help suppliers understand how basic EDI and transactions impact the supply chain. In addition, the AIM Project Team is familiar with the entire MMOG/LE audit, and offers on-demand assistance in completing the survey. "Our EDI product, AIM AutoSysT, is used by companies with 10 employees, up to companies with over 500, and has been proven to be an easy-to-use, comprehensive tool that includes features like real time EDI alerts, release accounting, and barcode based shipping, to name a few," added Czernel. "The Digital Attachment Manager feature of AIM Vision Software allows the user to "attach" critical documents: work instructions, control documents, set up parameters, quality documents for PPAP to the work routings, special project, and receiving files to facilitate easy access and sharing of critical LEAN operation documents," concluded Czernel. LTC Roll and Engineering Receives Prestigious General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award
[January 15, 2013 - Clinton Township, Michigan] LTC Roll and Engineering of Clinton Township Michigan has received the General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award - 2012 with a 1 PPM or less rating. General Motors awards this honor to about 7 percent of product suppliers who have demonstrated the highest levels of quality performance over the previous 12 months. Winners, like LTC Roll and Engineering, meet or exceed a stringent set of quality performance criteria along with cross-functional support of the entire GM organization. LTC was founded in 1967 by Andy Ligda and Ned Cavallaro as a manufacturer of Roll Form tooling. In the late 1970's, maximizing the strength of the company's tooling capabilities, LTC expanded into production manufacturing of Roll Formed parts. In 2001 an additional 100,000 square ft. of manufacturing facilities were constructed at the current location, bringing the total up to 250,000 square feet. Drew Ligda is now actively providing leadership within the company. "Our goal always is to provide world class defect free quality, 100% on time delivery and cost competitive pricing that exceeds the expectations and requirements of our customers. Through this initiative our employees and management have positioned LTC as a leader in the metal forming industry," says Pat Kelly, Director of Quality at LTC. "Our ongoing commitment to our customers is to provide value by providing quality parts at competitive prices," says Andy, Drew Ligda and Ned Cavallaro, owners of LTC. Both our quality systems and scheduling systems have to be up to the task to get this done," continues Ligda and Cavallaro. In 2008, LTC evaluated over 10 automotive ERP systems and selected AIM Vision, from AIM Computer Solutions. "AIM was the best priced and best fit to our automotive needs for the sized company we are, and are growing to," added Kelly. About LTC Roll and Engineering LTC was founded in 1967, and continues to grow throughout the automotive downturn. The forecast for 2013 and beyond is very promising, and reflects the need in the automotive parts community for reliable and cost effective parts delivered in concert with MMOGLE standards. http://www.ltcroll.com/ About AIM Computer Solutions, Inc.
