AIM Announces "Pay It Forward - Win for Your Charity" Winners from The Big M Event
[FRASER, Mich., June 19, 2014] - AIM Computer Solutions, a leader in automotive ERP and manufacturing software for small to medium-sized part manufacturers recently participated in The Big M Event at Cobo Center in Detroit. AIM decided to have participants enter a "Pay It Forward Raffle for Charity. "AIM has been blessed by some great business opportunities, and we wanted to share that with others. The Pay It Forward Raffle for Charity idea is a wonderful way for a third-party to receive a benefit and offered participants the opportunity to help make a difference in the process," said Jerry Czernel, VP Operations, AIM Computer Solutions. Participants specified which charitable organization they would like to receive a donation. The sponsored charities ranged from needs for children and veterans to animal rescues and specific health concerns. Nearly 150 booth visitors completed a raffle entry. A total of four raffle winners were chosen, and the following charities will be receiving a donation from AIM Computer Solutions on behalf of the specified sponsors: Wounded Warriors Project, sponsored by Phyllis Kolodny from Cuyahoga Community College. The Wounded Warriors Project's mission is to honor and empower wounded veterans and service members so they become the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history. They serve to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of the Wounded Warrior. Ms. Kolodny supports this charity because she is a veteran herself and she has a desire to work with wounded veterans, especially in the area of robotic prosthesis's. LifeBUILDERS, Detroit, sponsored by Bob Albus from RJA Consulting Services. LifeBUILDERS is the epicenter of a community on Detroit's far eastside. Their goal is to keep hope alive by being ministers to K-12 aged children throughout the year in many formats, ministers to seniors in our community, and providing affordable high quality housing with a current inventory of 28 homes and 2 apartment buildings and offers many worship and study opportunities throughout the year. LifeBUILDERS also has a Resale Shop that provides, in addition to great goods, an opportunity to further minister to families in the community. Mr. Albus supports this charity because, "they are great Christian organization that gives a hand UP instead of a hand OUT." American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Team Clover, sponsored by Mark Engstrom from Werner Company in Greenville, PA. The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. They serve as a source of information to help you stay well and get well, to find cures, and to fight back. Mr. Engstrom supports this charity in memory of Tammy Summerfield. On My Own of Michigan, sponsored by Claudia Gadowski from Production Modeling Corporation in Dearborn, MI. Own My Own of Michigan assists adults with mild developmental disabilities become independent, social and contributing members of the community. They believe individuals living with developmental disabilities have the right to choose where they live, work, play and worship. And, when given the opportunity, experience and appropriate supports they can become active members of the community. Ms. Gadowski supports this charity in honor of her nephew David Matuszak. "We are excited that the raffle for charity idea was so well received. Congratulations to all our Pay It Forward Raffle for Charity winners," concluded Jerry Czernel. AIM Participating in PMA Cleveland District 2014 Suppliers Night
FRASER, Mich., April 21, 2014] - AIM Computer Solutions, a leader in automotive ERP and manufacturing software for small to medium-sized part manufacturers will be participating in the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) Cleveland District Suppliers Night event on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. The event takes place at the Embassy Suites in Independence, Ohio from 4:00 PM until 8:30 PM. This free event is designed to bring together local and regional suppliers to the Metalforming industry with more than 80 exhibitors. As a PMA Member, AIM Computer Solutions will feature the AIM Vision® ERP and EDI software solution, particularly highlighting the AIM Mobility and My Alerts functions. AIM Mobility is a series of manufacturing productivity apps that interface with AIM Vision ERP software to move the power of touch screen technology to the shop floor providing improved data visibility and real-time user feedback. AIM Mobility is ideal for shipping, receiving, inventory control, production reporting, material tracking and tooling status. The Alert system from AIM Computer Solutions, called My Alerts, is focused on issues that can cause APQP, MMOGLE or other mandate violations for stamping, molding, machining and other component part suppliers to the automotive industry. The fully automated alerts help ensure automotive suppliers don't not get blindsided by last minute changes to their release schedule. These changes, if gone undetected, would result in unplanned overtime, expedited freight charges and sometimes a loss in business if an OEM assembly plant was idled due to a lack of the needed parts.
