Radio Frequency ID Work Group
The RFID group is responsible for the B-11 RFID Standard document and JAIF (Joint Automotive Industry Forum) publications. The overall intent of the AIAG B-11 standard is to provide the capability to assign a unique ID number (serial number) to individual items to aid in tracking and traceability.

Revision to the existing B-11; making it more globally-centric by emphasizing the globally acceptable core components, and placing the application-specific portions into their own Annex's (Tire- and Wheel-specific components). Also, pulling the Label components out of the B-11 and placing them into the B-4 as an application-specific Annex, and placing the B-4 reference into the B-11.
