Competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and many new product launches are delayed or compromised due to quality performance shortfalls. Issues like these make the need for a work force proficient in the principles and practices of the North American Automotive Quality Core Tools a central concern to many automotive companies. To this end, AIAG's Supply Chain Institute verifies that you have the knowledge to perform applicable Core Tool processes and provides formal recognition that you have proficiency within, and a comprehension of, APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and/or SPC.
By taking both a knowledge and application exam you can earn formal certification. Achieving certification can be value-added for both you and your company. You will become a certified expert with globally recognized credentials. Your employer will be able to assure their customers that a highly qualified individual is performing the process and can meet the competency requirements as defined in ISO/TS 16949 clauses and the applicable North American Automotive Quality Core Tool reference manuals.
