This course has been developed for IATF auditors to address auditor competency in conducting automotive process approach audits. The course addresses the IATF Auditor Guide. It is also designed to address areas where the need for improvement was evident from witness audits of the IATF auditor base.

This program applies to third-party auditor certification, not to second- or first-party auditors. To be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the requirements of Section 4.2 in the Rules for Achieving IATF Recognition and be sponsored by an IATF-contracted certification body.
