Upon completion of the class, students will understand how to:
o State the benefits of MMOG/LE

o Conduct an effective assessment, including identifying gaps and preparing action plans
o Report assessment results to management and customers
o Navigate and complete the assessment in www.mmogle.com
Ensure that you are compliant with customs regulations and paying the proper rate of duty on your imported products. Proper tariff classification is the basic foundation for all customs transactions, including qualification for the U.S., Mexico, Canada Free Trade Agreement (USMCA). Correct classification of your products is essential for determining the appropriate duties and remaining fully in compliance with all Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Regulations). The Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) provides duty rates for virtually every item that exists, and is harmonized to at least the 6-digit level almost across the globe.
Effective July 1, 2020, the new USMCA trade agreement replaces NAFTA as the trilateral free trade agreement between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The automotive industry is significantly affected by dramatic rule changes, including an increase in overall value content requirements, the introduction of the Labor Value Content (LVC) requirements, and new categories and requirements for automotive parts.
The new USMCA Content Reporting course developed by OEM, supplier, and free trade agreement experts is an in-depth, comprehensive training geared toward automotive trade compliance practitioners and working managers.
