IATF 16949 internal auditors or second-party auditors, anyone involved in developing design and/or process FMEAs or in the implementation of IATF 16949 will benefit from learning about the common set of requirements that should be used to implement FMEA techniques into design and manufacturing processes. This is a Live Virtual course, which requires the participant to use a device capable of streaming content through a video conferencing platform. The participant agrees to keep their camera active at all times during the training.

Course Information

Develop a real-world, functional understanding of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. IATF 16949 internal auditors or second-party auditors, anyone involved in developing design and/or process FMEAs or in the implementation of IATF 16949 will benefit from learning about the common set of requirements that should be used to implement FMEA techniques into design and manufacturing processes.

Individuals in quality, engineering, operation or auditing roles that are not familiar with FMEA 4th Edition or that are in need of a refresher.

• Review and explain reporting requirements for FCA, Ford Motor Co., and/or General Motors Co. and associated forms
• Discuss evaluation criteria
• Develop recommended actions and follow-ups
• Assess examples of process and design FMEAs
