Course Information

The Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), is one of the most important Core Tools because it is the contractual submission for the part coming from your supplier, or moving from you to your customer. The intricacies of this document often lead to questions, however, including:

  • How should I best review this PPAP to ensure I'm seeing an accurate picture?
  • What does a high-quality PPAP submission look like?
  • How can I review this more effectively in less time?

Answering these questions and more - from both the supplier submission side, and the perspective of a plant submitting to their customer - this one-day training provides insights for supplier quality engineers tasked with reviewing and approving PPAP, plant associates responsible for submitting PPAP to the customer, and managers looking for the details behind PPAP to ensure realistic, high quality PPAP submissions.

Through engaging group activities and scenario analyses, you will learn how to prepare documentation applicable to PPAP, and assess the effectiveness of your suppliers' Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) by evaluating compliance with PPAP requirements.
