Chemical Management & Reporting Advisory Group

AIAG’s Chemical Management Advisory Group is defining the global impact of emerging chemical management or product stewardship regulations on the automotive industry. The group interacts with other automotive associations on regulatory, customer, and reporting requirements, and it offers information and resources to keep the industry abreast of existing and emerging global relations.


Focus Areas


  • Championing chemical reporting processes that meet regulatory and customer requirements

  • Assessing impact of existing and emerging global regulations

  • Providing input into the International Material Data System (IMDS) with direct connection to the IMDS Steering Committee
