CTPAT/AEO Supply Chain Security Management Work Group

Understand protective customs and border requirements and assess your risk to guide corrective actions.


This work group collaborates to meet the security requirements set forth by Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). AIAG has developed a standardized system of risk assessments, tailored to different industry types, that guide corrective actions for compliance with these requirements.


Focus Areas


  • Extending AIAG security management risk assessment to new OEMs and supplier importers, fostering collaboration across the automotive supply chain

  • Ensuring alignment with the most current security criteria mandated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection
