Special Process: Molding System Assessment

The goal of the CQI-23 1st edition was to provide a common assessment tool for the industry that resulted in reduction in variation, less warranty claims, less leaks and recalls, and provided a framework for improvement which resulted in organizations be able to ensure design and product specification requirements are consistently met.

The CQI-23 1st edition was released 2014. The CQI-23 Molding Assessment work group is meeting to update the assessment based on customer feedback and changes in the industry.

Special Process: Rubber Molding System Assessment

This new work group is meeting to develop the new CQI-30 Special Process: Rubber Molding System Assessment.

The CQI-30 will include processes that apply to rubber molding with requirements for the type of control and monitoring frequency. The Assessment will also include a rubber mixing section.
