The official contact for your sponsoring CB will work with you to complete required application documents before providing them to AIAG. These include:
1. The “IATF 16949 3rd Party New Auditor Training & Assessment Application – Qualification Form,” signed by your sponsoring CB contact.
2. An updated CV/resume that clearly lists four (4) years of appropriate, full-time practical experience, including two (2) years dedicated to quality assurance and/or quality management activities within the past 15 years in an automotive manufacturing organization meeting the applicability of IATF 16949.
3. Must be competent in automotive core tools (at minimum FMEA, MSA, and SPC) and have documented evidence demonstrating how this competency was achieved (e.g., education and/or training with examination and/or practical experience in application).
4. A copy of your Auditor or Lead Auditor ISO 9001 certificate.
5. Your Audit Log, which must clearly list, at minimum, six (6) ISO 9001 audits in manufacturing industries, including at least three (3) as audit team leader.
